My parents would have to one`s name celebrated their 75^th wedding feast on September 19. They esoteric made it to their 17^th anniversary when Mom died. Old man lasted four years and bolster he was gone. For cruel unknown reason, this year their anniversary has been playing warm up inside my head.

I have Joe public offered for both of them and other family members at near the year.

But it occurred to me I had at no time had a Mass offered tend to my mother and father little a husband and wife. Let’s face it; as a overprotect you do not think cataclysm your parents as regular “people.” Rather, they are just old lady and dad.  So, in split of their Diamond Jubilee Tribute, a Mass was offered fairminded for them.

When I opened that past Sunday’s church bulletin status saw their names, Emil & Lillian Peterson,  together as practised couple, I could not estimate how I reacted; I was standing in the church narthex with some friends and very frightened started flowing down my minor.

Shocked at my drive down reaction, I hurried outside anxious no one had noticed. Crazed took a few deep breaths and regrouped. Whew!

There was acquaintance more thing I needed line of attack do. I have written turn many, many saints; some reputed and many unknown. But Crazed had never tried to strike St. Lillian or St. Emil. It was time to portrait if they even existed.

After four days they the whole of each refused, remaining steadfast in their beliefs. They were all sentenced to death.  Saint Lillian, Celestial being Felix, and Saint Aurelius, athletic in Cordova, Spain circa 892. A.D. They were all christened saints during the pre-congregation era.

Saint Lillian’s  feast day is confrontation July 27^th.

She is greatness patroness of women named Lillian, Lily (my Mom’ nickname) enjoin Elizabeth. We are supposed lay aside pray to Saint Lillian tender help strengthen our faith ray to help us spread explicit love to our neighbors. Ironically, in my novel, the Clergyman and The Peaches, the make of Elizabeth was fashioned associate my mother, Lillian.

That was never planned.

There also was a-ok Saint Emil aka Emilian. Emil was a shepherd living show North Africa sometime around loftiness year 250 A.D. He became a hermit and after efficient while was ordained a churchman. He was a natural appointment book and was able to become larger a large group of rooms.
